Functional Art Objects
Functional art objects or functional art works are hand crafted or sculpted objects that can be employed for a practical function or in a functional manner. For example: book ends, bowls, cups, goblets, eating utensils and lamps, to name a few.
These objects stand apart from their regular namesakes in that they
are artistic in nature, they are unique and can be one or two of a kind.
They are regular objects that perform a practical function in human
activities but that have been interpreted and created in an artistic and
original way.
Examples of functional art objects can include:
skull bowls, skull goblets, dragon claw lampshades, antler chandeliers,
